Paste Linked Pictures

When I first started using Excel, I was a little overwhelmed with the Paste options. I mean look at the variants of of the paste clipboard.

Paste Values is probably the most common. This eliminates any formatting and formulas from the copied cells.

But recently, I have begun using Paste Linked Pictures to enhance certain dashboards.

This allows you to manipulate a cell like you would a picture but also be able to manipulate the picture properties.

From there, you can stack these on top of graphs to add insight.

And then you can also create dependent formulas that only appear when an expectation is met.

Here is a basic formula: =IF(J8>=J3,"🏆","") With this, the trophy will only appear when an expectation is met:
